At least 25 militants were killed and several others injured on Monday as the military operation continued in northwestern Pakistan's tribal region.
Some miscreants attacked security forces with rockets and artillery in Bajaur tribal agency, and the security forces fired back on attackers and killed 25 militants and injured several others, according to the website of The News newspaper.
Sources said that extremists had killed three persons accused of spying for security forces in Tehsil Charmang area of Bajaur tribal agency.
Pakistan's security forces started its operation against local militants on Wednesday when the militants ambushed an army vehicle.
