Chairman Upendra Yadav of the Madhesi People's Rights Forum (MPRF) said on Monday that the Common Minimum Program (CMP) will only be signed after the finalization of the cabinet.
The Nepali party alliance formed in last Friday's prime minister election has on Sunday reached an agreement over the CMP of the new government and the CMP was expected to be signed on Monday morning.
Talking to Nepali national news agency RSS, Yadav said the newly elected Prime Minister Prachanda is to take oath of office and secrecy from the president on Monday, while the cabinet has not been finalized as there was no consensus on the sharing of ministries between three major parties of the government to be formed.
The CMP will only be signed after finalization of the cabinet, Yadav said.
The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) (CPN-M) Chairman Prachanda was elected the first Prime Minister of Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal on Friday with support from two othe rallies, the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) (CPN-UML) and the Madhesi People's Rights Forum (MPRF).
