Lao Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh arrived in Pyongyang on Saturday for an official goodwill visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK),the official news agency KCNA reported.
Kim Yong Il, premier of the DPRK Cabinet, held talks with Bouasone Bouphavanh "in a friendly atmosphere," exchanging views on boosting the bilateral friendly and cooperative relations and matters of mutual concern, the KCNA said.
The two governments signed an agreement on setting up a joint committee for cooperation in economy, trade, science and technology.
