The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) will further develop friendly and cooperative relations with Libya, the top legislator of the DPRK said on Sunday.

Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, sent a congratulatory message to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi on the country's ruling party's 39th birthday, the official KCNA news agency reported.
