A strong earthquake with magnitude of 6.3 struck eastern parts of Indonesia on Tuesday morning, the Indonesia meteorology and disaster management agencies said here.
There has been no report of damage or casualty so far, said Drajat, an official of the disaster management agency.
The quake jolted at 00:19 Jakarta time (1719GMT Monday) with epicenter at 36 kilometers northeast Bitung of North Sulawesi province and at 10 kilometers under sea bed, an official of the meteorology agency Djajat Jatmika told Xinhua. Source:Xinhua
