An earthquake with magnitude of 5.2 rocked eastern most of Indonesia on Friday with no report of damage or casualties, the meteorology agency said.
The quake rattled at 05:56 Jakarta time (2206GMT Thursday) wit hepicenter at 88 kilometers northeast Timika of Papua province and at 10 kilometers in depth, an official of the agency said.
Indonesia sits at a vulnerable zone so called "the Pacific Ring of Fire" where two continental plates, stretching from the Western Hemisphere through Japan and Southeast Asia, meet that cause frequent volcanic movements.
