At least three people were killed and 15 others injured in a missile attack in northwestern Pakistan' s tribal area on Monday, private Express News reported.

A U.S. drone fired several missiles and targeted a madarssah, or religious school, in Miranshah in North Waziristan tribal region, said the report.

Private GEO TV channel reported that seven guided missiles had been fired from U.S. spy planes in Miranshah and adjoining areas. The guided missiles targeted the madarssah and the house of Afghan commander Jalaluddin Haqqani in Miranshah.

Several people were feared dead in the attack, according to GEO.

Private Aaj TV channel put the death toll at six.

Four children were killed as a U.S. drone fired some missiles in North Waziristan last Friday. Pakistan lodged a strong protest against the attacks launched by Afghanistan-based coalition forces in Pakistan's tribal area last Wednesday. However, missile attacks launched from unmanned planes in Pakistan's tribal areas still continued.
