At least 20 militants were killed and 40 others injured when security forces pounded their hideouts in Pakistan's tribal area on Wednesday.
Backed by gunship helicopters and jet planes, security forces pounded hideouts of militants in Rshakai, Tangkhata, Charmang, Tehsil Mamond and other areas in Bajaur tribal agency, the News Network International news agency.
More than 700 militants have been killed in the ongoing operation conducted by security forces in Bajaur agency, accordingto local media reports.
