Two passenger vessels collided at a port in the central Philippines on Monday morning, media reports said.

No injury has been reported in the incident.

Passenger vessel MV Princess of the South was docked at the Cebu International Port when MV Super Ferry 12 ran into the ship at around 10 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), Philippine TV GMA reported.

Ernesto Edar, captain of Princess of the South, said the MV Super Ferry 12 was just leaving the port to resume its voyage whenit "accidentally" hit the docked vessel. The MV Super Ferry 12 had stopped over at the Cebu port after it met rough waves on its way to Cagayan de Oro City, South Philippines.

The captain said that the collision bore a hole into his ship’s forward steel plating.

Even after the incident, the MV Super Ferry 12 still pushed through with its scheduled trip and sailed off south toward Cagayan de Oro City, the report said.
