At least three people were killed and 11 others injured in a suicide blast in southwestern Pakistan on Wednesday, private TV channel Express reported.

The blast occurred near the Askari Park in Quetta, capital city of Balochistan province, said the report.

A Frontier Constabulary convoy was targeted by a suicide bomber who blew himself up, according to private GEO TV.

The injured have been shifted to nearby hospitals and security forces have cordoned off the area.
