A magnitude 5.6 earthquake jolted northern Mindoro island in central Philippines Saturday morning, U.S. Geological Survey reported.
But it is not yet clear whether the quake center was located beneath the land or in the ocean.
Bolts of shakes were felt in the national capital of Metro Manila at around 11:05 a.m. and lasted more than 60 seconds.
No damages and casualties have been reported so far.
