Nepali Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bamdev Gautam said nobody should enter into Constituent Assembly (CA) bearing arms, Nepali national news agency RSS reported Saturday.
Responding to the queries raised by opposition party on sneaking arms into the premises of Constituent Assembly by the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) (CPN-M), Gautam said that Nepal Police make security arrangement for the Assembly premises.
Gautam, who has been also looking after the office of the Prime Minister, said he has directed the police administration for tightening security not to let anybody sneak arms inside the premises and urged all to play role in making the parliament a revered place.
The minister said he is committed not to leave any flaw and fault in security arrangement for parliamentary premises, and said all should help in maintaining premises as arms prohibited area.
