The Indonesian anti-corruption commission, or Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK), has declared Aulia Pohan, whose daughter married by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's oldest son, as suspect on graft allegation, head of the commission Antasari Azhar said Wednesday.

President Susilo recently said that he would not impose any discrimination against his family or relative members in judiciary.

Aulia Pohan, a former deputy governor of the country's central bank, was declared suspect along with other three bank deputy governors, said Azhar.

"The KPK has declared Aulia Pohan, Aslim Tadjuddin, Maman H. Soemantri, and Bunbunan Hutapea as suspects," he was quoted by Antrara news agency as saying.

The four deputies were also declared allegedly involved in graft by a court during the reading of a five-year jail punishment on former central bank governor Burhanuddin Abdullah on Wednesday.

According to the court, the four former deputy governors along with Burnanuddin were found guilty violating the law by disbursing31.5 billion rupiah (about 3.4 million U.S. dollars) funds several years ago from the bank's foundation to several legislators, allegedly aimed at having a new central bank law passed.

The looming of court decision on the status of Aulia Pohan has triggered public curiosity on the possible discrimination of law enforcement for corrupt people in the country with over 230 million population.

Indonesia, which is struggling to improve investment climate, has been seriously struggling combating rampant corruption in the country.

Scores of high-level government officials have been jailed or undergone legal process for corruption charges.
