Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Janardan Sharma on Friday said that United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon's visit to Nepal will assist to bring the peace process to the logical end.

Speaking at an interaction program organized in Kathmandu, Sharma expressed his belief that the United Nations will provide assistance for the long lasting peace in the country.

He said that the outcome of Ban's visit will prove to be very fruitful.

Meanwhile, Sharma claimed that favorable environment has been made for the talks with the armed struggle groups of the southern Nepal's Terai region.

"It will be easy for the government to have talks with the united group", Sharma said.

He also informed that formal talks will be held within some days.

Sharma warned that the government will take strict action against those who try to disintegrate the talk policy which is formed by keeping the nationality in the center with the political groups.
