British Prince Charles is to meet with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono during his five-day visit in Indonesia, starting on Nov. 2, British ambassador to Indonesia Martin Halfuil said here Friday.
The meeting would discuss the issues of global warming and religious tolerance, said the ambassador.
"This visit would raise issues of climate change, especially focus on the rainforest in Indonesia and tolerance among interfaith," Halful was quoted by the detik online as saying.
The prince would also meet with Yogyakarta Sultan of Hamengkubuwono X and visit the National Park in Jambi province, he said.
The prince's last visit to Indonesia was in 1989.
Indonesia is one of the initiators of the campaign against global warming. The archipelago country has struggled to decline its high rate of deforestation by planting tens of millions of trees and implement strong law enforcement. Source:Xinhua
