A foreign female, said to be a French aid worker, while walking was kidnapped by armed personnel in Afghan capital city of Kabul Monday morning, witnesses said.
The lady was walking along with one male colleague, a foreigner too, when several armed people suddenly got off one car and kidnapped the lady in Kart-e-Parwan of Kabul, one eyewitness told Xinhua.
One local Afghan who happened to be on the spot while trying to prevent the kidnapping was shot dead by the kidnappers and the kidnappee's male colleague succeeded in escaping from being kidnapped, according to the witnesses.
