Malaysia will host the inaugural ASEAN Infrastructure Financing Mechanism (AIFM) here next week, local reports said on Monday.
Leading regional policy-makers and global experts in infrastructure would attend the one-day conference to be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center on Nov. 10, local newspaper The Star said on its website.
Malaysia's Securities Commission said on Monday the conference reflected the region's commitment to generate innovative market-oriented solutions to promote higher levels of infrastructure development, according to the daily.
The conference, which was co-organized by Malaysia's Securities Commission and the country's Finance Ministry, would enable public and private sectors to identify key issues and opportunities to strengthen their partnership, it added. Source:Xinhua
