At least 45 people were injured in a bomb blast in northwestern Pakistan's Bajaur tribal agency on Thursday, local television reported.
A remote-controlled bomb was detonated among tribal elders in Salarzai tribe of the troubled Bajaur tribal agency, and several people are feared dead, Geo TV said.
The Pakistan army is intensifying its military operation against militants in the Bajaur agency and has killed more than 1,500 militants since Aug. 6.
The warplanes of Pakistan's security forces on Thursday continued to pound suspected militants' hideouts in the Bajaur agency, several militants were reportedly killed.
