The 13 missing seamen in a Vietnamese coal-carrying ship that went sunk in waters off the central coast of Vietnam on Tuesday has been found on Wednesday morning, Vietnam News Agency reported, citing source with the local rescue center.
The 13 seamen have returned to the land and their health condition is stable now, said source with the Danang Maritime Rescue Coordination Center.
According to the seamen, they were lucky to catch the life buoys when the ship sunk.
Previous reports said there were 15 seamen on the ship when it sunk, but reports from the Vietnam News Agency said that there were only 13 on the ship and now all the seamen have been rescued.
The ship, belonging to a private owner in Vietnam, ran into an accident in the bad weather on Tuesday and then sunk.
