At least eight people were injured when two unidentified assailants on Saturday's early morning launched a grenade at the Misakawan Intersection outside the Thai Government House which was seized by the anti-government People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD).
The attack occurred at 2:10 a.m. (1910 GMT, Friday), just two days after a bomb was triggered inside the Government House complex which killed one and injured 20 others on Thursday.
At least eight PAD members were injured while one of them -- a 22-year-old man -- was in critical situation, local Thairath newspaper said on its website.
The report said some witnesses saw two suspicious men riding motorcycles launched the grenade.
After the blast, local police has sealed the venue.
The PAD has been staging anti-government protests since May 25 in Bangkok and occupied the Government House for rally since Aug. 26. Source:Xinhua
