Pakistani Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani Sunday said Pakistan had no agreement with the United States to allow the U.S. to carry out cross-border attacks inside Pakistan's territory.
Referring to the cross-border missile attacks conducted by the U.S., Gilani said the sentiments against the U.S., North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the West would rise if the U.S. continued the strikes, private TV channel DAWN NEWS reported.
He also said the Pakistani government would evolve a strategy to stop the strikes.
Gilani said missile strikes were undermining Pakistani army's strategy to control the situation in the northwestern tribal areas.
Pakistan's tribal areas have witnessed a string of cross-border missile attacks, most of which were reportedly conducted by unmanned U.S. drones. Terming them violations of Pakistan's sovereignty and territorial integrity, Pakistan has lodged protests against such attacks. Source: Xinhua
