At least 144 Filipinos were stranded in Bangkok after Thai anti-government protesters blockaded the Bangkok's airports.
A statement from the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines said the Filipinos were moved to various hotels as all international flights were canceled.
"They are all in good condition," Philippine Ambassador to Thailand Antonio Rodriguez was quoted as saying.
Rodriguez said the embassy will seek additional funding to provide clothing to the stranded travelers because all their baggage were left inside the Suvarnabhumi Airport.
The airport takeover was one of the moves yet by Thailand's People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) to oust Thai Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat.
There are around 10,000 Filipino workers all over Thailand and of this figure around 5,000 are based in Bangkok, working as teachers, employees of international agencies, diplomats, entertainers and hotel workers.
Manila issued a travel advisory to Bangkok Wednesday, as the civil unrest has no sign of simmering down with anti-government forces moving without restrictions and having the upper hand of the situation.
