The United States and South Korea committed over 200 cases of aerial espionage against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in November, the official KCNA news agency quoted a military source as saying on Saturday.

The unnamed military source detailed the spying flights conducted by the U.S. and South Korean air force in the month and indicated that "the wild ambition of the U.S. imperialists and war mongers of the South Korean puppet armed forces to make a surprise preemptive attack on the DPRK has reached an extreme phase," said the KCNA.

The KCNA has been reporting U.S. and South Korean spying flights monthly.

It reported more than 150 cases of aerial spying in October.
