The Director General of the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan will not visit India, private TV channel Geo reported Saturday.

The cabinet held a meeting at which the situation in the wake of the terrorist attacks in India's Mumbai was discussed and the federal cabinet approved the decision not to send the intelligence chief to India, said the report.

Briefing a news conference here, Pakistani Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi denied any involvement of Pakistan in the terrorist attacks and assured India that Pakistan would cooperate in the probe of the incident.

Local Pakistani media Friday reported that Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani had accepted a request from his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh to send the intelligence chief to Indiafor sharing of information related to the terrorist attacks in Mumbai that left more than 190 people dead.

Qureshi Saturday cut short his Indian visit and returned to Pakistan. He also participated the cabinet meeting and briefed the cabinet on his Indian visit.
