At least four bombs in early Sunday morning exploded at the rally sites of the anti-government People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) protesters in Bangkok, injuring at least 45.

The first bomb, reportedly M79 type, exploded at midnight just 200 meters away from the PAD's main stage inside the Government House which was seized by the anti-government group. At least 45 PAD members were injured from the blast.

Some 30 minutes later, two other bombs exploded at PAD's ASTV station. Witnesses also heard gunfire lasting about 10 minutes but no injury was reported.

At about 4:00 a.m. (2100 GMT), at Bangkok's Don Muang Airport --another rally site of the PAD, a bomb exploded near the main entrance to the passenger terminal.

Before the explosion, about 7 gunshots were heard from the direction of a warehouse deeper inside the airport compound.

No one was injured in the explosion.

Until Sunday morning, the PAD supporters still continued their mass demonstration at two airports of Bangkok, although Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat has announced emergency decree in the areas of both airports since Thursday night.
