Former U.S. president Bill Clinton will arrive and give a lecture here on Friday, the lecture organizer said here on Wednesday.

This is the first time that the former U.S. president will visit Malaysia and he will share his thoughts and insights on global inter-dependence at his lecture.

Clinton also will share his ideas to meet the world's most pressing challenges in poverty reduction, climate changes, global health and education at the lecture, which is being organized by the Sekhar Foundation.

The lecture was originally slated for Saturday, but changed due to Clinton's schedule rearrangement.
