Japan is a troublemaker of the six-party talks and should be kicked out, the official Rodong Sinmun daily of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) said Tuesday.
Japan refused to honor its commitment on providing economic aid to the DPRK under a disarmament-for-aid deal, said a commentary carried by the Rodong Sinmun.
Japan's ulterior aim was to bar the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula from being solved and put spurs to the moves to turn itself into a military giant under that pretext, it said.
So there was no need to allow the troublemaker to sit at the negotiating table any longer, it added.
Japan refused to provide the aid to the DPRK before "abduction issue" was resolved. The DPRK has admitted kidnapping 13 Japanese in the 1970s and 1980s.
The DPRK announced on Dec. 6 that it will neither treat Japan as a party to the six-party talks nor deal with it even if it "impudently" appears in the conference room.
