The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Tuesday denounced Israel for launching air raids against the Gaza Strip.
"The DPRK resolutely denounces Israel's killing of unarmed civilians as a crime against humanity, a serious provocation against the Palestinians and other Arab people and an open challenge to the Middle East peace process," the official KCNA news agency reported, quoting a Foreign Ministry spokesman.
The DPRK urged Israel to stop military actions immediately, the spokesman said.
Over 300 Palestinians have been killed since Israel launched airstrikes on the Gaza Strip on Saturday in retaliation for increased rocket and mortar fire from Gaza on southern Israel, reports said.
