Moderate quake hits Aceh, Indonesia |

A 5.8-magnitude earthquake rocked Aceh province in northern tip of Sumatra Island of Indonesia Monday morning, with no report of damage or casualty, meteorology agency said here.
The quake epicenter was at 349 kilometers northwest of Sabang, Aceh province and at 89 kilometers in depth, an official of the agency said.
Indonesia sits on a vulnerable quake-hit zone so called "the Pacific Ring of Fire" where two continental plates meet, causing frequent seismic and volcanic movement.
