The suspected militants have killed three men allegedly spying for the United States in Pakistan's northwestern tribal region, local media said Monday.

The bullet-ridden bodies of the three were found Monday near Miranshah, main town of North Waziristan tribal agency on the Afghan border, the News Network International (NNI) news agency said.

A note wrote in local Pashtun language was found near the body, which said that the men killed were spying for the United States and warned that those who work for America would meet the same fate.

The militants have killed many tribesmen, alleging that they spy for the U.S. forces who keep crossing border to strike the militants' hideouts from Afghanistan.
