The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) will hold an election for its top legislature on March 8, the official KCNA news agency reported on Wednesday.

Representatives to the 12th Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) will be elected to a five-year term in accordance with the constitution. The 11th SPA election was held in 2003.
