One person was killed and two others injured in a roadside bomb explosion in southwestern Pakistan on Thursday.

The bomb was planted in a motorcycle parked on the roadside and exploded as a security forces' vehicle carrying troops was passing by near Khuzdar town in Balochistan province, according to official Associated Press of Pakistan.

The killed was identified as Lal Baksh who was passing along the road when the explosion took place.

The injured were rushed to hospital for treatment.
