Rescue team found one survivor on Monday morning in Majene waters of West Sulawesi, Indonesia, adding the list of survivors to 19 people while hundreds of passengers' fates remain unknown.
Rescue team coordinator from Hasanuddin University Salman said on Monday that the rescue ship KM Sinar Bontang had evacuated the passenger to Parepare port of South Sulawesi for medical treatment, the kompas.com reported on Monday
"The passenger is still alive but we have yet to find out the passenger's identity," he said.
The rescue team is struggling to find out more than 200 passengers of KM Prima Kosong who were still missing when the ferry sank in Majene waters on Saturday night. The ferry bound for Samarinda, East Kalimantan, from Parepare, carrying 300 passengers, cattle and hundreds of tons of rice.
