Four people were killed and eight others injured as a bus hit a microbus Monday morning in Bangladesh's Comilla district, 90 km southeast of the capital Dhaka.

Police were quoted by private news agency UNB as saying the bus dashed the microbus at about 9 a.m. (0100 GMT), killing three microbus passengers, including its driver, on the spot and injuring nine others.

The injured were sent to Dhaka for treatment but one small girl died on the way.
