Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva got most votes in Wednesday's nationwide survey about "choosing the top ten Cabinet members with best performance," Thai media reported.

The ABAC Real-Time Survey was conducted by Assumption University among 1,351 respondents from 17 provinces, including Bangkok, The Nation online reported.

On the request of naming what they think the top ten best-performanced cabinet members, a total of 70 percent of respondents picked Abhisit, the youngest prime minister in Thai history.

Abhisit was elected the head of the administration on Dec. 15, 2008, when he was 44 years old.

In the poll, he was followed by Tourism and Sports Minister Chumpol Silpa-archa, who was voted by 56.3 percent of respondents.

Education Minister Jurin Laksanavisit, who was named by 55.9 percent of the respondents, came third on the list.
