At least three people including a policeman were killed Thursday night in two blasts near a police check post in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar, according to local TV reports.

Another 13 policemen were injured in the blasts at the ring road of Peshawar, capital of Pakistan's North West Frontier Province (NWFP).

A large contingent of police was present at the spot following the first grenade attack. Then a suicide bomber blew himself up among the crowd.
