British Prime Minister Gordon Brown called Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday and conveyed United Kingdom's support to Pakistan, according to official Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).

During telephonic conversation, the two leaders discussed methodology of how the U.K. could help Pakistan in the war against terrorism and extremism, reported the APP.

Zardari spoke to the Gordon Brown about ways to achieve increased market access for Pakistani goods to the European Union market and Gordon Brown assured Zardari of his government's full cooperation and support in this respect.
