At least one person was killed and two others were injured in a remote-controlled bomb attack on a police mobile vehicle Wednesday in the northwestern Pakistani town of Dera Ismail Khan, according to local TV reports.

The private Geo quoted police sources as saying that unknown persons targeted a police vehicle parked near in the Kotli Imam Hussain of Dera Ismail Khan in the North West Frontier Province (NWFP), killing a passerby.

The injured were rushed to a local hospital while policemen survived the attack, it said.
