Three presidential candidates and their pairings to run in the upcoming presidential election on July 8 will end their campaign period in different places in Indonesia's key island of Java on Saturday, the Antara news agency reported here.

Megawati Soekarnoputri and her pairing Prabowo Subianto are scheduled to undertake their last campaign in Semarang, the capital city of Central Java province.

The presidential candidate nominated by Indonesia Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) will highlight their 'pro-people' campaign in Megawati's stronghold province.

Jusuf Kalla, who is nominated by the Golkar Party, tour across East Java, the province which has been recognized as the stronghold area of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), the largest Muslim organization in the country.

Jusuf, a staunch Muslim who likes to be associated with an NU follower, will undertake campaign in five districts in the province and in the capital city of Surabaya.

Meanwhile in Jakarta, the incumbent president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to end his campaign period with a grand event that would be ended with mass praying in the city's landmark stadium, Senayan.

Days after the ending of campaign period would be used as a peace period ahead the presidential election day. All presidential candidates and their supporters will restrain themselves and wait for the vote casting.

The polling agencies would start 'quick count', or the tally of votes gained by all three presidential candidates, shortly after the vote casting ended. It will be broadcast live by national TV stations nationwide.

The official election result will be announced by Indonesian electoral commission, the General Election Commission (KPU) within30 days after the vote casting day.
