The Thai Prime Minister reiterated during his weekly television address on Sunday that the "I love Thailand" project is aimed to restore the country's image, which was badly affected over the past few years.

The Thai government on Saturday officially launched the "I love Thailand" project.

Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said that as his government took office in mid-December 2008 the country's image had been largely hit by the country's political crisis.

Hence, the project will provide a good opportunity for the Thai people at all ages to join hands to improve the country's image, he said.

The prime minister has urged Thais to express opinions and suggests through the website, www.ilovethailand.org.

Meanwhile, Apirak Kosayodhin, an adviser to the prime minister has invited overseas Thais to give their opinions and suggestions through the website.
