A NATO-led forces aircraft crashed on mountain in Baghlan province north of Afghanistan, local police said Thursday.
"An aircraft of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) crashed on a mountain in Bajgah valley of Khinjan district Thursday afternoon," police chief of Khinjan district Mohammad Asif Qazizada told Xinhua.
Earlier, police chief of Baghlan province Mohammad Kabir Andarabi said that policemen had been sent into the area to find the wreckage.
However, a spokesman of ISAF when approached by Xinhua said, "ISAF cannot confirm at this time."
