Indonesian president inaugurates 5 deputy ministers

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Wednesday inaugurated five deputy ministers who will be installed at departments that are considered carrying heavy burden in the next five years in the government, Kompas.com online news reported here.

They are Deputy Minister of Agriculture Bayu Krisnamurthi, Deputy Minister of Public Works Hermanto Dardak, Deputy Minister of Transportation Bambang Susantono, Deputy Minister of Trade Mahendra Siregar and Deputy Minister of Industry Alex Retraubun.

Besides, the president also inaugurated the Head of Investment Coordination Agency Gita Wirjawan.

The inauguration is based on the law about state ministry that allows the president to install deputy ministers in departments that are considered need one.
