The Pakistan's North West Frontier Province (NWFP) government has directed government offices and educational institutions not to receive unknown parcel, according to local TV channel reports Wednesday.

According to directives issued by NWFP government, terrorists are trying different techniques and they could use parcels as bomb. Therefore, the heads of schools, police offices, hospitals and government offices should not receive any parcel or gift from unknown person.

Waves of suicide attacks and bomb blasts across Pakistan have killed hundreds in recent months. Only in the northwest over 300 people were killed in few weeks, according to officials.

A suicide car bomb tore through a crowded shopping street in the heart of Charsadda Tuesday, killing 34 people in the third attack to hit the North West Frontier Province.
