The seventh annual Rhythm and Vines music festival gets underway in New Zealand North Island's eastern coastal city of Gisborne on Tuesday, with dance-electronica star Moby attracting the star billing.
About 18,000 people are expected to attend the three-day festival at the Waiohika Winery, which culminates in a concert on New Year's Eve.
The festival's founder, Hamish Pinkham, said that the American star is looking forward to playing in New Zealand once more, and is set to kick off the event in some style, according to Radio New Zealand.
He said fans will also be able to catch the likes of UK group the Editors, Australian favorites Empire of the Sun, as well as a strong local contingent including Kora and Sola Rosa.
