The Criminal Court on Saturday approved an arrest warrant against anti-government core leader Arisaman Pongruangrong for having allegedly incited unrest, Thai News Agency reported.
The warrant was approved as police on Saturday afternoon implemented the maximum-level-security measures in capital Bangkok to prevent violence amid the rising number of the anti-government protestors.
By 18.00 p.m., local time, it is estimated about 50,000 anti- government protestors from several provinces have arrived at the main rally site at the Pan Fah Bridge.
