Several earthquakes hit Asia-Pacific countries (2)

The quake struck at 09:53 a.m. Jakarta time (0253 GMT) with the epicenter 342 km northwest of Manokwari of Papua and with the depth 30 km, according to Indonesia's Meteorology and Geophysics Agency.
However, there were no reports of damage or casualties, according to local officials.
An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale jolted Monywa of Myanmar on Saturday morning at 5:50 a.m. (Myanmar standard time) , according to the Hydrology and Meteorology Department.
The quake caused no serious damage and casualties. It was not much felt in the area where population is not dense, said a Monywa resident.
The quake's epicenter was about 112 km of Monywa at latitude 23. 06 degree north and Longitude 94.65 degree east.
The quake shook at a depth of about 100 km as reported by foreign seismological observatory.
