Thailand's Immigration Bureau has confirmed that Arisman Pongruangrong, a hardline United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) leader is still in Thailand, Pol.Lt.General Tha-ngai Prasachaksattru, commander of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) said Saturday.

By this time, Arisman has still not contacted to surrender, Thai News Agency quoted Tha-ngai as saying.

Police forces have already deployed to search on areas, where the UDD core leader might potentially use for shelter, the CIB commander said.

Arisman escaped from the main rally site Rajprasong Intersection in central Bangkok on May 19 before the other core leaders announced to end their over-two-month long rally.
