A magnitude-5.1 earthquake hit off the East Coast of Honshu, Japan, around 03:10 GMT on Thursday, said the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
The epicenter was monitored at 33.0 degrees north latitude and 142.586 degrees east longitude with the depth of 10 km.
