Philippine police and military nabbed Jul Ahmad Ahaadi, alias Jul Puti, 33, at the vicinity of Camp Asturias Friday afternoon, according to Air Force spokesman Lt. Col. Miguel Ernesto Okol.
Okol said Ahaadi was lured to go to the area.
"An asset gained his confidence to go outside the police camp and he was subsequently arrested," he said.
Okol said Ahaadi was arrested by virtue of a warrant in connection with the kidnapping of six members of the religious group Jehova's Witnesses in August 2002.
