A U.S. small plane carrying up to 10 people went missing on way from Idaho to Shelton, Washington, authorities said on Monday.
The Cessna 208 Caravan left Boise, Idaho around 7 p.m. Sunday but did not arrive at Shelton as scheduled, according to aviation officials.
A hunter reported seeing a low-lying plane and a possible crash, said Nisha Marvel, a spokeswoman for the state Department of Transportation.
The plane's emergency locator was not activated, authorities said.
Rescue workers were dispatched to the scene where the plane probably crashed on Monday to search the central Washington Cascades for wreckage, authorities said. Source: Xinhua
